Job Description
Northland Community and Technical College seeks a full-time Chemistry Instructor for both campus locations; Thief River Falls and East Grand Forks, dedicated to excellence in teaching, who desires to become part of a creative, vibrant, student-centered learning community.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree with a major in chemistry or a Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester credits (27 graduate quarter credits) in chemistry.
Preferred Qualification
Experience with higher education guidelines and policies.
Have a minimum of two years’ experience teaching. Coursework in teaching pedagogies and preparation in principled and methods of evaluation.
Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population.
Be knowledgeable about methods of instruction, testing and evaluation of students.
Experience using instructional technology
Must submit CV, Resume, and unofficial transcripts.
Other Requirements
In accordance with the Minnesota State Vehicle Fleet Safety Program, employees driving on college/university business who use a rental or state vehicle shall be required to conform to Minnesota State's vehicle use criteria and consent to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
